Troop 450 Weekly Meetings on Monday Evenings

Our regular troop meetings are held every Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Faith United Presbyterian Church, 3150 Elmwood Ave. Kenmore NY, 14217.

Please be on time! We also try to finish on time and ask that your parents try not to be late for pickup. (But we hope they will be patient if we are a few minutes late.)

Each month in the Spring and Summer one of the Patrols will be responsible for cleaning up the church grounds, which usually takes up one saturday morning a month. The Patrols also, on occasion, plan other activitives of their own.

Twice a year we have a Court of Honor to recognize the advancements earned by our Scouts. This may include a potluck supper.

Perhaps most important of all, we try to schedule at least one weekend camping trip each month. SCOUTING IS OUTING.

Most of the activities at our Troop meetings vary from week-to-week, but we always have a formal opening and closing ceremony. If your parents are their for either the opening or the closing they should either join us (all are welcome!) or wait outside.

At our opening the Scouts take turns leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance, reciting of Scout Oath and Law, etc.

At the closing we all join together for vipers.
